Exactly one week ago today, this OUTSTANDING group of tenacious students graduated!  To celebrate this momentous event, vignettes were read depicting each student’s unique qualities, beautiful songs were sung, and fourth-graders wowed the audience with a parachute performance to Josh Groban’s “You Raise Me Up.” Watch out world! Here come these MARVELOUS MINDS!

Graduation is upon us!  As the school year draws to a close, it invites us to reflect upon our unique year, the strong ability to learn ANYWHERE and EVERYWHERE, and just how much we value treasured friendships.  A hike to Santa Cruz Island was the perfect place to consider how fortunate we truly are.

Thanks to Ms. Svedlund’s organization, students enjoyed an exhilarating boat ride to the island to commemorate their 4th-grade journey.  With parent chaperones joining in on the fun, we hiked, played nature games, and answered questions from our well-informed naturalist.

We are grateful for our time together and have our eyes set on a BRIGHT future!
